“Muslim Ban” In America- Seven Muslim Countries around the World

An executive order has been signed by the President Donald Trump on Friday 27 January 2017 to stop the entire refugees from entering the United States for 120 days included Syrian as well. The visas are banned from seven Muslim countries Iran, Iran, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Syria and Yemen, which are all Muslim-majority nations. The decision has inserted a religious test into the U.S Refugee program by giving priority to Christianity over Muslims.

There are many Syrian families who stuck at the airports, having sold all their belongings in preparation for the journey to a country. But with one signature, Donald Trump has effectively ruined their lives and possibly consigned them to death. “Muslim ban” is a part of Trump’s election strategy; hence he established anti-Muslim racism in the US.

The executive order begins based on the reason of failure of the “visa-issuance process” a serious issue behind 9/11. It blames the officials for not properly scrutinizing the visa applications of about 19 foreign nationals. Although majority of those individuals were from Saudi Arabia, but Saudi Arabia is not included in the list of “Muslim Ban”.

Moreover, Trump also signed executive order to push forward the Dakota Access Pipeline. And only about 40 will be permanent among all of the jobs he promised. He promised to build a wall to protect Americans from the bane of illegal immigration.
